Main Protagonist
Here’s our disgraced fallen angel who finds himself wandering the Earth for millenia without purpose, stripped of his duties, after being commanded to witness a celestial world shattering event. Not that he was without fault - he did step over the line and do some tampering to save his realm and human clan from all out destruction. But that act landed him on the outside, watching the world go by as his old realm is headed by a human dynasty.

Secondary Protagonist
Imposter syndrome anyone? Anara finds herself living a life she believes she wants and probably earned (right? maybe?), and engaged to a fantastic guy. Too bad his family absolutely hates her for no reason at all. She’s never really fit in anywhere, no matter how qualified she is to be there. Nothing has ever felt right. So, why should she fit in as a hoity-toity Larmont, anyway? Fighting hard against her internal arguments for self-acceptance and acceptance within her new family, Anara unexpectedly lands herself along a completely new and wild path. Now, she must step into a role that she was supposedly made for. Could that even be possible?

Fiance to Anara and shrugs off the qualifier of “hoity-toity Larmont.” Being the third son of the prestigious Larmont family came with a ton of familial responsibilities and expectations, including whom to marry. However, like Anara, Asher never really fit his mold either. Maybe that’s what drew them together? Ever supportive of his amazing Anara, Asher will go to any lengths to stand by and protect the love of his life, but will that cost losing his family? Or more?

A Kuli, also known as a small sprite, spirit, or daemon. Kulis can represent many forms and are present in throughout the world’s folklore and myths. There are many types throughout the novel! Nova is a fire Kuli and likes to take on the form of a large orange tabby cat while in the human plane. However, in his true form, he is a fiery red kobold. Nova is connected to our main protagonist, Jasper. How they’re connected, time will only tell - but one thing is for sure, their bond is true. Nova’s wit is sharp but dry, unlike his drinking problem.
